Chain of Thought AI Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ZOTU platform and related services (“Platform”) operated by Chain of Thought AI Ltd. (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
Upload, share, or transmit content that is unlawful, harmful, misleading, or infringing
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems, data, or accounts
Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or its infrastructure
Use the Platform to violate any applicable laws or regulations
2. User Content
You retain ownership of any content you upload or submit (“User Content”).
By using the Platform, you grant Chain of Thought AI Ltd. a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service (e.g., search, retrieval, AI assistance).
Important:
Your data is not used to train public or shared AI models
Your data remains private and isolated within your environment (especially for on-premise deployments)
3. Data Responsibility
If you upload data that includes personal or sensitive information:
You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to use and process that data
You act as the data controller, and we act as a processor where applicable
4. Platform Availability
We aim to provide a reliable service, but:
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation
Features may change, improve, or be discontinued over time
5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
ZOTU surfaces and generates insights based on your internal data. While we aim for accuracy:
Outputs may not always be complete or correct
You should validate critical decisions before relying on results
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Our total liability is limited to the amount paid (if any) for using the Platform
7. Security and Privacy
We take security seriously and implement appropriate technical measures. However:
No system is completely secure
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your access credentials
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of UK
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
